SocioExchange

Terms Of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms of Service govern your access to SocioExchange, a professional networking and research technology platform operated by TechBuddies IT Services (P) Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). Please read these terms before registering or using an account. By accepting these terms during registration, or using the services after being given notice of them, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not register or use account services.

1. Our services and these terms

SocioExchange is the individual-member community at socioexchange.com. It supports professional profiles, member discovery, groups, posts, discussions, reels, news, events, jobs, and project or bidding opportunities for the market research ecosystem. Individual members may register subject to verification and approval. Company connections and linked 1API Network services have their own access requirements.

Access to a linked service may require a separate account, approval or agreement. These terms do not automatically grant access to another platform or company workspace. A separately signed agreement or accepted order governs the specific paid or business services it covers and takes priority over these general terms if they conflict. Individual community registration does not require acceptance of an organization-only platform agreement.

2. Eligibility, registration and approval

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Provide accurate identity, contact, employment and professional information and keep it current. Do not impersonate another person or claim an affiliation you do not have.

Individual registration may use LinkedIn verification and administrator review. Submission or verification does not guarantee approval. Verification and profile badges describe checks performed by the platform; they are not guarantees of a member's qualifications, reliability or services. Company registration and API access may have additional approval requirements.

3. Account security

Keep your password, verification codes and API credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not sell, transfer or share personal member accounts. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly using the contact details below. Use only the company workspaces and data you are authorized to access.

4. Profiles, posts and community content

You remain responsible for your profile, posts, discussions, reels, comments, event listings, job listings and other submissions. Public profiles and public content may be visible to guests and search engines. Check the visibility of information before sharing it. Do not publish confidential client material, research participant data, private contact details or personal information about others without appropriate permission and a lawful basis.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content as needed to operate the services, distribute it to the audience you select and provide related notifications. This licence does not transfer ownership. It ends when the content is removed from our active services, except for necessary backups, legal retention and copies already shared by other users. You must have the rights and permissions needed to grant this licence.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the services lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, defame, impersonate or deceive others.
  • Do not publish unlawful, exploitative, infringing or malicious content, or send spam, phishing messages or fraudulent offers.
  • Do not scrape personal data, harvest contacts, bypass access controls, manipulate engagement, distribute malware or disrupt the platform.
  • Do not misrepresent research results, respondent identity, project delivery, qualifications or business relationships.
  • Do not use automation or APIs beyond the permissions, documented limits and access granted to you.

6. Projects, bids, jobs and events

The platform helps people and organizations discover opportunities and connect. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we are not a party to agreements between members, buyers, suppliers, employers, candidates or event organizers. They are responsible for verifying each other and agreeing scope, confidentiality, research consent, quality, timelines, payment, taxes, cancellations and dispute handling.

A listing, introduction, bid or application does not guarantee a contract, job, payment, attendance or successful outcome. Event organizers are responsible for their event information, venues, eligibility, attendance arrangements and any event-specific terms. Check those terms before registering or paying. We do not hold participant funds or provide escrow unless a particular service expressly states otherwise.

7. APIs, integrations and third-party services

LinkedIn, research platforms, payment services and other external providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and decisions are outside our control. Use integrations only with appropriate authorization and protect API keys, research data and participant information. Do not attempt to access or redistribute data that you are not entitled to use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and meeting the obligations applicable to your research or business activities.

8. Fees and paid services

Any platform fees, subscription terms, taxes, renewal arrangements and cancellation or refund conditions must be disclosed with the relevant paid service before you agree to purchase it. Creating an individual profile does not itself authorize an undisclosed charge. Payments and commercial disputes between members are governed by their own agreement. Nothing in these terms removes any refund or cancellation right that applicable law requires.

9. Privacy and notifications

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Account verification, approval, security and service notifications may be necessary to operate your account. Marketing communications and optional notifications are subject to the choices and consent mechanisms offered by the service and applicable law. Accepting these terms is not a blanket consent to unrelated marketing.

10. Moderation, suspension and account closure

We may review or remove content and restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, security risks, fraud, unlawful activity or legal obligations. Where practicable, we will explain the action and allow you to contact us for review. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or comply with law. You can request account closure through support. Closure does not cancel obligations already incurred; some records may need to be retained for lawful purposes.

11. Intellectual property

The platform software, design, trademarks and other materials supplied by us or our licensors remain their property. You receive permission to use the service for its intended purposes, subject to these terms. Do not copy, resell or misuse platform materials or branding without permission. Third-party names and logos remain the property of their owners.

12. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content or a particular commercial result. Features may change, and maintenance or outages may occur. Assess information and counterparties independently and keep copies of your important records.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by independent third parties, inaccurate member content or transactions to which we are not a party, and exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses such as lost business opportunities. This does not exclude responsibility for our fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability, statutory guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the services or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version and update date here. Material changes will be notified through the service or account contact details where appropriate, with renewed acceptance requested where required. Changes do not retroactively alter a separately agreed transaction.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. If it cannot be resolved, either party may approach a court or other authority with lawful jurisdiction. These terms do not prevent you from exercising statutory complaint or consumer rights.

15. Contact and reporting

For account assistance, complaints, content reports, intellectual-property concerns or questions about these terms, contact support@1apinetwork.com. Identify whether your request concerns SocioExchange or 1API Network and include the relevant account or content link. Do not send passwords or API secrets. The operator is TechBuddies IT Services (P) Ltd.
